Campfire Cooking

We do like our food here at Boutique Camping. Whether we are filling each other in on the yummiest pop up restaurants, proudly showing off our home made lunches, or exploring some of the more whackier dishes out there -the most recent one being peanut butter chicken with strawberries (you probably wont believe us but it was actually really good) we love any excuse to share good food with good friends – and camping should be no exception.

We’ve just started a ‘Picnicware’ section on the website which we are looking forward to expanding in the future. Here are some of our newest products.

If you haven’t checked out our traveller wood burning stoves yet get ready to fall in love. They are totally portable and come a variety of cool colours – we love the metallic blue and mojave red. Perfect for cooking up a storm when you’re out in nature. The great thing is once you’ve finished cooking your evening meal the heat from the stove will also heat up your bell tent a treat, making it warm and cosy as the chill of the evening draws in, and just top up with logs to keep warm all night long. session_1-276 (1)session_1-198 (1)

We’ve got some super cool melamine plates and cups which not only look amazing, they will last practically forever (melamine!)

We have just added a gorgeous classic wicker picnic hamper that includes cutlery, plates, wine glasses, napkins and a secret cooler compartment which comes in handy for so many reasons.

So what exactly am I going to cook!? I hear you ask. Well how about some recipes from ‘The queen of outdoor cooking’ herself Annie Bell. Her brand new book ‘The Camping Cookbook’ is released on the 9th of April and we have some exclusive copies winging their way to us. It’s packed with delicious camp fire food sure to inspire you.

Happy yummy camping!
